See, im the type who usually doesnt mind and sometimes enjoys rape stories(because of character development or its kinky- remember fictions fiction and if ur too young to differentiate fiction from reality u shudnt be reading it in the first place) but this story pissed me off since it never really discussed how asahina never gave him the chance to choose whether or not he wanted to pair with him. If this was a tradgedy yaoi i wouldnt mind since itd add to the turmoil but this isnt. Its a “wholesome” yaoi and what pisses me off is how that wasnt addressed and asahina was the one who got upset at him for not accepting him when hes the one that bit him when he was a literal stranger to his senpai. And how pretentious is it to call it a gift when it literally wasnt wanted and thats just an excuse stemming from your selfishness?

I think i know why ians genuinely repenting rn- when nine was the one who awakened and melissa the one who broke through to save yuri, the story was completely on a new route. Yuri’s “subconscious” even said that the story would always be the same but it isnt. Ian at the beginning didnt know what to do when melissa asked for a reason to not divorce, meaning that the script has run its course. The characters are able to feel for themselves and change the way they want to, which might be why jake didnt act the way melissa expected, and ians acting like he genuinely wants to make it up to melissa. At this point on, there’s no destined ending for melissa to expect, and the characters are free from their chains to stick to their descriptions.

But this is just a theory- a WEBTOON theory
