It's not a minor part of the story, i would say the yaoi was just not that glaring, at least until towards the ending. It makes sense though because the novel is written mostly in WWX's POV, who is *oblivious* af and really bad at remembering super important things. Then you have LWJ, who doesn't know how to express himself really ┑(￣Д ￣)┍ There's definitely a kiss, sex, and confession scene that's gonna happen. Whether in that specific order or not, you can find that out yourself ╮(￣▽￣)╭
