In erens case when he and Mikasa help set ymir free they only fix the problem on the surface ( in a sence they only destroy the mod and not the spawner itself ) so titans can rise once more bc of the tree where ymir first got her abilities in the first place!so we are probably gonna get a sequel but with the main crews children or grandchildren and who knows we might see past titans holders helping this kid to create a brighter future since the kid will be like ymir and have more power than eren could have ever had only being a titans holder and not the genuine article of where the lineage started so im interested in seeing how the next story line plays out
