1. The people with wings are having koichi hatch the egg in order to prove himself worthy of being the bride of the king as a sort of trial.
2. Still not 100% sure but it seems most recently that baro is actually just being really committed to his undercover persona. Apparently there’s still some secrets with the beastmen who tried to assassinate koichi he’s trying to uncover.
3. Caius’ brother is the one sort of overseeing koichi’s bridal trial. He was the one who called in the winged people with their egg for the trial. He is endorsing their sister for the throne instead of Caius.

me too, but i don't want the ending to be rush. i want all the numbers, sans no. 3, jin's family and friends to live a good life. and also, for lieutenant to get married, and jin to go do something he wants to do not be a bodyguard although he is good at it (and may be wants it??) but i want jin to live peacefully and really, as been mentioned, do the things he want without worry and any semblance of threat to his life and love ones.
