I think the scene where the killer mimics the sound of the MCs heartbeat let’s us know that he knows MC isn’t blind. He took that picture purposely because he knows the bf is narcissistic and would post it, having the MC see and be terrified. He also looked up at the apartment of the bf when he was cheating, what’re the odds he’d just happen to look at that specific window?
Also, he mentions “the game” and “log on”, and I think this refers to how the MC is trying to convince the killer he is blind and the killer wants to see how far he will go.

For those who don’t understand what’s going on ...
basically a maid prevents her master from being killed by his fiancée, whom wants to be with the crown prince. In the process, maid turned younger. To repay her, she is sent to the home of his former enemies, who are the only ones who know how to cure her. He creates a 3 year contract in which they protect her, and in return they get profit from one of his mines. He must marry her once the three years is up, so that he does not have to marry the woman arranged by the emperor, whom is afraid of his power because he could threaten the empire. She is still tested by the new family, and it is revealed that, I guess, she has magical not-get-poisoned powers.

The story shifts to new situations and people very quickly, as well as has a few areas where the grammar is pretty off. I understood most of it because I have high reading comprehension, but didn’t understand the part where they explained why the master was enemies with the family. I probably could’ve got it if I went over it a few times, but most people don’t want to have to read the same thing twice, and many people have mild to severe difficulty with reading. The story isn’t bad at all but they could’ve done better with grammar, detail, and story progression. They just kinda randomly brought up that it was a universe with magic and anti magic stones. I really liked the concept but I think I’ll drop this one.

Don’t get me wrong I don’t mind men who are awful people simping for a FL but she lies to herself throughout the story thinking “ oh wow he’s actually a nice guy how heroic, he helps the weak <3”...ma’am did you not watch him slaughter every innocent person around you, not to mention he was totally cool with the knights being all rapey?? Them rose colored glasses...

I absolutely hate the ml. He doesn’t deserve a redemption arc, because it would just be along the lines of “oh the empress is so sweet and chased me 24/7 so now I’ll protect her”. No, just be a good person. Also I read spoilers and I’m so mad I was literally in love with Lyn... I was thinking this story was original but guess not :( Are there any stories where the female ends up w like, a side character?

I really wanna read all of this but it’s so frustrating... stop treating your wife like garbage and then getting jealous. When is the freaking divorce and hopefully a scene right after where he realizes his mistress has been shady behind his back and how much of an absolute arse he has been just because the empress doesn’t act like a child. Should I just give up ┗( T﹏T )┛
I don’t understand why the uke did that???he touched the guys stuff right after he pissed him off..confused.
He needed to feel in control. That's why he touched the guy's stuff even after being warned. It reminded him of his childhood where he wasn't allowed to touch things that aren't his, and he felt immense pleasure in having it despite stealing it.
