the ml and fl really are dumb and dumber, like i can't even cheer for such a stupid couple nor for their separation bc if how dumb they are
and yet again a fl who mistakes who the ml loves and a trash beyond redemption ml
its such a rarity to have a middle aged mc, but he's so pretty that we forget he's in his 40s
the only problem (and it's a pretty big one imo) is the stupidity of the fl when it comes to the ml,like can we stop the "there was a huge rumor about his impotence and he never refuted it so it must be true" and "it's all an act" when firstly, someone with ED would swear up and down nothing was wrong, secondly he said, word for word "nothing is better that a shody act, so we won't be acting like we love each other" which, for the less perceptive ones (like the fl for exemple), means that it'll be a real relationship and they will build their genuine love.
like girl, open your eyes and think just a tiny bit
why do every women in harlequin story have to be vain (even the fl, dare i even say, especially the fl)
