I think in one of the club scenes Dangami had hinted at not wanting to be a Yakuza in the first place. Thats why he accepted when he told him to quit. and then the reason he was able to tell him to quit was because of the bet they made right after they got the money back. Basically Dangami just needed a reason to quit and aoba gave him a reason
