Does he resent Seth because of all his crimes and him imprisoning his mother or was it osem specific thing. And what is Anubis's curse that is mentioned??
The thing about the real and fake Neftys is something that hasn't been addressed again in season one, so you'll have to wait for season two. And Anubis' problem with Seth used to be as you say, but it's gotten worse: Anubis basically has two curses on him, one that stunts his growth (mentioned in chapters 30, 21 and 27) and then the deadly one on his arm (introduced in chapters 37 and 38), and the only way to solve those two curses and survive now is to end his relationship with Seth, otherwise Anubis will die. This is mentioned at the end of chapter 50, when Anubis recalls Horus' voice telling him that to survive the second curse he needs to solve the first curse, and to do that he needs to forsake Seth (that's Horus' voice). Horus is not lying, as he was able to tell him the way to overcome the first curse because Horus himself had been given the same curse in the past, and overcame it. SHorus told Anubis that the only way for him (Anubis) to survive the curse on his arm is by becoming a god, and to become a god, he needs to solve the first curse stunting his growth, and to solve the first cuse stunting his growth, he needs to cut Seth off from his life. Even Seth knows this. So, Isis, Seth and Horus all know that Anubis volunteering to play a role in the third match is not a coincidence.
