Hey guys. Can someone explain to me how investing in people that will become successful in the future will help her? I get that they will feel indebted to her and will repay her, but i feel like im missing something
I’m not sure but I here’s what I think, when they become successful they would obviously want to repay her back because she helped them start up the business they would feel as Shen was the one who gave them a chance to be successful but then again it isn’t far off from what you think so (〜￣△￣)〜
I think she’s trying to create links with people and make them indebted to her so that they can help her in the future, maybe to escape/ overthrow the duke.
I think because right Now, she has NO power on her own. Completely powerless and depending on her "father" and the status of the person she's pretending as but rn, that status is only temporary because it isn't hers to begin with. So right now she's building up connections to people WITH ANOTHER NAME who she knows became really famous in the future. In a way, it'll add to her status because she's the one that nurtured them, basically gave them a chance to grow and succeed. People will think if it weren't for her, these talented people would've never taken off.

Ohh im sorry for the confusion, I did not read the novel and this is not a spoiler. As we all know, she transmigrated into the novel. As the title suggest "the way to protect the female lead's older brother"- she entered into a novel and helped the FL'S older brother which is Cassis.
The last update showed jeremy talking to the FL( the white haired girl and Cassi's younger sister)- thats why I thought Jeremey is the original second male lead im the novel she entered. But in this timeline, that did not (Yet) happen

And I don't think Jeremy was the second male lead of the OG story, I think he was the villain. I mean it was his family that killed her brother, and he kidnaped our ML's sister, and I think raped her...soooo he was probs the villain. I feel like the male leads were all in the other families, tho they didn't show up yet-
