I was originally on the carsen x maythan ship but if carsen really did like the og maythan... I can't put my exact feelings about it into words, it's like, messed up to me who's reading and knows it's not the same maythan who befriended carsen,
unless they do the thing where he was og maythan who became jinsoo and became maythan again but I'm just reaching and making assumptions lol but it still makes me feel weird

Same thought. I was kind of prepared for Carsen to be the endgame, but after finding out that Carsen liked the original Maythan, it feels a bit weird if he ends up with this Maythan since he’s not the one Carsen wanted to protect.
That said, I can understand why Carsen didn’t notice any changes in Maythan. Their encounters were brief, and there wasn’t much difference in personality. Plus, with Carsen believing Maythan had lost his memory, it makes sense that he wouldn’t suspect anything.
