Tbh the whole thing with the prince can go disappear lmao I always get thrown off when I'm reading and suddenly remembering he still exists like, probably would've been better to show their chemistry while they were younger with more chapters if he's that important considering he's in the title

The mc is inconsistent and not in a very well written way, I get she's the trope that goes "I'm a first class villainess so I do it better and smarter which makes a lot of people think I'm a charming and good person" but her reason for wanting to such is pretty vague and all boils down to her not liking the heroine tbh

She's also really Mary sue, not that it's a bad thing but in this case it's just meh, the only that irked me was that she is considered politically smart by the king somehow, but then she goes and makes it her goal to be a villainess oblivious to her little contradicting behaviors (ex. Saving people, just cause you insult instead of giving a pep talk doesn't mean you're different, ur basically still doing the same thing as the heroine you oh so disliked, ur just doing it in a different font)

I was actually rooting for the og heroine until the thesis scene where she just becomes a dummy with flowers for brains and proceeds to get worse after the mc gets kidnapped and she blames her for going ballistic on her captors

Also how convenient it was that the prince was just in time to get stabbed by the knife instead of the mc haha *rolls eyes* I still dont get why he likes her so much??? Like cause she sliced an apple??? I can do that too bestie, with the proper tool!! A knife!! The kiss scene with the medicine was so unnecessary like get a spoon ew why r u sharing germs (I'm being petty here obvsly)

Tldr if you want a "I'm gonna be the best villainess" trope with a cuter more likable mc I recommend the one with bertia in it or even the one where the mc was actually lvl999 or smth, hell even the one where she only had like 24 hours to turn her situation around
