Lmaoaooaoa so I got bored more than half way thru the epilogue and decided to skip to the last chapter and eunho looks like such a full on Twink lmao it's like seeing the end product after skipping the transformation sequence (He was already getting twinkier each chapter of the epilogue) his face literally looks squished together I LAUGHED OUT LOUD
This one hurts my brain. On one hand we have a stupidly naive mc, who is yes cute, but that's all there is he's a bit of a dummy (are you stupid what part of healing your trauma means sex? Actually what part of what he's doing with the ml is healing his trauma? The dating?? Tf)
And then we have the ml who is shown to not like his privileged life because of its constraints and probably expectations from his parents and fake people he doesn't like (hypocrite, he calls the people he doesn't like disgusting but here he is manipulating and gaslighting an innocent person into having somewhat coercive sex with him, and he thinks that's okay because he finds the mc cute and sexy?? What pissed me off the most is how he's basically gaslighting mc into ruining his relationship with the first love, who at this point seems like a good person compared to him)
And lastly the first love who is allegedly a groomer
Which, I'm gonna be honest a 4 year age gap is not that bad, but I think the problem people really have is that he met(?) knew(?) the mc when he was 16, a minor. Idk I'm not sure if they had an actual relationship or just flirting with each other because they BOTH liked each other. I can't speak for people who have been groomed nor is this a defense for real groomers. My point is here is that he didn't manipulate the younger person, the mc in this case, to like him and they didn't seem to ever have a sexual and abusive relationship unlike the ml (who I'm gonna be honest feels more like a groomer than the first love) . So far from what we've been shown they had a pretty healthy relationship they never even had sex, there was no power dynamic, people seem to find it weird and suspicious that he named his restaurant after the mc but I think it's just cringe and probably more of the authors choice.

The ml is a pos
The first love is weird
I wanna make it clear that I'm not saying the first love should be end game or saying he's not at least a little weird, it's just that the age gap seems to bother other people more than the fact the ml basically gaslit the mc to have sex with him, COERCED the mc to have sex with him by threatening to tell people what he's hiding and is now manipulating his trauma so he can HAVE SEX WITH HIM
If you just take it at face value the ml basically does the exact things a groomer would
I don't understand the point of making something a side story if it really is just another season disguised as one. If the MAIN STORY is over why add stuff that overcomplicates the relationship. side stories in my belief are meant to closure for the already finished story (or cute extras like daily life after the main story or aus). If you're going to just continue the story just say it's another season and not a side story jfc

Im going to try and finish this after dropping at the start of season2 by looking at the new art first so I don't get jumpscared, but all that did is made me understand why I dropped it haha the downgrade was HUGE not to say the new art is bad, but that the old art is the one that I like more
The artstyle always ALWAYS makes me forget this is set in modern times and not set in the 90's...the art just has that naturally nostalgic feel... Tldr I got surprised when I saw they had phones, flat screens and washing machines
the story was good for an incest plot, others in the same genre would usually just go straight to sex or smth and they never really talk Abt the incest part other than for some 'petty' drama, emphasis on petty.
And tbh I came in expecting
Jin to have some dark insane perverse mindset for his brother and turning him into a living corpse but really he's just a kid who grew deprived of love other than his brother's (and he gets Poisoned as a child like damn no wonder someone would grow up twisted in one way or another)
Anyway this one was well written the only reason I'm commenting is cause I started to read it with low expectations but it was better than what I thought it would be
The mc is so fr LIKE he's actually super nice to yeonwoo will at least TRY his best to communicate and is super understanding like wtf
