As fun as He Tian and redhead are, I'd say I still prefer the main couple. I think Jian Yi and Xi are more likeable characters overall, and I'm a sucker for a well-written childhood friendship/developing romance. Plus, Jian Yi having it so bad for Xi just makes me a puddle of feelings everytime. I also think, when comparing the two couples, that while He Tian and red make great side characters, I don't think they'd make for as strong main characters if the positions were switched. So I for one wouldn't want them to overtake the coming chapters.
Sorry if this sounds overly critical at all, because that's not my intention! Like I said in another post, I'm just more emotionally invested in the main couple. But I admit HT and red appeal to my inner pervert. ╮(￣▽￣)╭

like i guess you can liken them to porn stars who have sex for money but it's a more public thing than escorts and because escorting is so discrete you can always come back from it so you can make your money and get out and most times the people who take part in selling themselves have a goal working towards and they find that is the easiest way and it doesn't cause them to enter crisis mode (how? i dunno)
It's the oldest profession in the world. It's also more readily accepted in other countries. Americans seem to like violence more than sex, so prostitution is weirdly taboo here.
@Silencia Yeah i agree, it can be tracked since Babalon. Also for autor of this thread - i once dated a prostitute, you know they are also people, right? my ex did sell herself when she was younger and her story is hearwretching as most of prostitutes in yaoi. Don't judge people so easily. There is many sad stories but even if there's none its not for us to say what other people can or can't do with their bodies if they want to do something
