Ao definitely didn't deserve a happy ending after being a coward and lying, even if it was because of love, on the other side he didn't deserve to be with someone as fickle as Kou (come on you decided you wanted Ao but were about to sleep with Mikuni for the 4th time just like that...)
Mikuni deserves better, yeah he did in the past fail to look for Kou, but he was a kid still and he was told out of nowhere he was dumped pretty much, then he gets a second chance and is rejected only because Kou feels indebted to Ao, that is not love, you don't cheat when you love some one just because Ao was with him through the accident and such you can't leave him... well guess they deserve each othr at the end, the only honest one was Mikuni...
Ao didn't work hard because of love, he worked hard because he was a lying coward who knew he woould eventually get caught and such... all he did for love supposedly he did it for himself and out of guilt... I dont consider this a romance manga at all, that's not romance or love (︶︿︶)＝凸
