This is so chaotic but hotdamn I love it! The sex scenes are wild!! My biggest complaint was that Kylot didnt grovel enough at the end.
This story has the most gratifying chasing arc ever, I feel so satisfied! Handsome Mr Kwon's desperate looks as he realised his feelings allowed me to forgive him, but goodness, Hyeon Oh just SHONE in this story once he gave that USB back. The boy had the backbone to assertively speak his mind, and the resilience to walk away from that delicious man! Plus his honest vulnerability felt so authentic my heart just crushed for him! I also liked that in the final few chapters the growing romance and communication intimacy was developed without any smut, leaving that for the side stories which the whole Mangago world is eagerly waiting for now. An absolute 10/10 from me.
I would SO date Satoru. He is so mature, level headed, sensitive to others, kind and open. The first chap of this made me so SUS of Manato and thinking wtf is this lol.

However I did love the relationship build post initial drunk sex and how the author showed Manato falling desperately in love. I would have liked another 1-2 chaps of them being in a relationship, laughing, loving and having lots of torrid sex lol. Great read and would reread.
Honestly, i don't it's a sudden accident. In the chapter 2 (cmiiw) , you can see there is a woman who following manato, and satoru noticed. And in the chapter 3 there is a strange woman too, who, I assumed wants to barge in to manato's apartment in the apartment lobby and again, satoru noticed. I think it's the same woman who stabbed manato.

Woaoh, the chemistry between Leo and Eight is super-hot, ngl. Plus both MC and ML are very likeable. And I really want a spin-off for their two friends, Natsume and Kota. Its an ABO so of course story is somewhat cliche, but its worth re-reads if not for anything else the intense bed scenes between the two leads.
The art is GORGEOUS and Yoru is SO beautiful. I have serious envy for his form - that lithe waist and swaying hips, ooooo. The sex in leonine form was ok for me as Amran's bottom half was as human. No ick factor for me except the shaky start with noncon, but as story went on Amran became an emotional teary green flag and so in love....
Takumi is so very adorable especially his dazzling smile. Such a cute story of unrequited love on BOTH the seme and uke's part, and the bits of angst balanced it out nicely. My only complaint is that the sex was rushed in the last chapter - like confess and immediately bonked. Should have stretched it out to two chapters to really ground their feelings and build on the smexy scenes.
Rape, prostitution and child abuse are very heavy topics. I appreciate that the author did not make light of it, but chose to instead to focus on the survival, coping and positive emotions, esp for the seme. He remained a gentle soul despite the atrocities he had to go through. Their relationship build felt raw and unsure when they ran away but it built the seeds of a lasting love.
Imagine finding clarity and hope for your own depressed state from the lines in a manhwa. I couldnt stop crying. This is why Payback will always be a gold-tier story for me.
