I kind of wished they didnt have the smutty scene. I find them both so cute and their chemistry is great but the yaoi bits were rushed and unnecessary for this story.

In Chapter 50 after winning the gold medal and Woojin taking care of Yi Ho, CH said to YR in hotel room "I won a gold medal, so put it on me again like you did that day'. And if you look carefully they both remembered the promise made before ie if CH wins gold he gets to mark YR. Then they had sex and one part had CH holding YR at the neck from the back and then YR gasps, and the scene showed glistening reflections of water. Thats when I realized he had marked Yi Rim as they agreed. The imprint was done, just not explicitly shown. Which to me just makes it more beautiful to end the chapter and main story that way.
I spent an entire afternoon absorbed in it, the story of Kouhei and Taichi from start to end pulled at my heartstrings, made me cry alongside them and smile and shout for joy when they did. The plot and narrative has a lot of depth and stays fairly realistic, and Kouhei's deep love for Taichi made me feel so very single lol. Best BL ever. Loved it!!!
This deserves a much higher rating. The art and facial expressions, the pain of unrequited love or choices that have to be given up, the art, the whats ifs, did I mention the art? Love it. Worth coming back to on days when I need to wallow in pain and hurt and some bits of hope too.
Whilst I appreciate the official versions (Thank you Jujucat!) the earlier translations by Kedama Scans are just so well done!! The sentences and phrases pulled me in, reflecting the poetic life lessons and the witty charms of both MCs. The romantic tension that builds, meaningful glances and nuances were all done well to reflect the relationship development. 100/10 from me for this gold standard BL.
