I felt that the idea of a closet gay coming to terms with himself, falling in love and confessing could have done with another chapter or two to pace it put even more, and included a pinch more angst/drama for even more added realism. But as it is, keeping it short allowed it to be sweet and adorable instead so I am ok with that too.

I really like Kirishima's character - so open, accepting and straightforward. Honestly the first 3 chapters I had daggers in my heart and ached so much for him. Am glad it was all just a misunderstanding. Megane Toudou just gets hotter every volume. His mostly black attire just increases his sexy enigmatic aura. And can I say how YOUNG the mum looks? Coz if Kirishima is 27, she must be close to 50 at least? I want a story for Nanami as seme too, he is so interesting!

I liked the pace of the story. it had a nice balance of humour, cuteness, tension and angst. I liked that the seme was being realistic in weighing out staying friends vs dating a hetero, even tho he is deeply in love. But honestly, Todou is such a megane seme. I mean really, he got me all hot and bothered through six chapters. I would seriously jump him.

So much angst and pain for Yuuto, and so much misunderstanding because both uke and seme think its better to hold back. But I do wish the older brother was shown to be more affected - he just seems to smile stiffly through most of the pages, no blushes, no painfully wierd face to show how much he loved the uke and was holding back, just some sighs and then boom, last 2 chapters went rather fast. I would have liked to have seen the seme's perspective too, and more of the relationship fleshed out.

There were many things not literally said in this manga but that was what made it so beautiful. I loved how Lucas was so patient with Souhei, reading him well, pushing and motivating him but taking a step back where needed, and ultimately showing Souhei how to love and trust again and opening up his world. I liked Souhei's well-paced character development - how he slowly showed his vulnerable side to Lucas, and how his growing affection for Lucas showed up in quiet nuances, loving glances. And for me, Akihiro played a pivotal role by being the mirror of how Lucas treated Souhei. One was so selfish and wanted to keep Souhei bound in chains, and the other helped to set him free and made him happy. 5 stars from me.
I mean, sure she's really cute and her intentions are pure but geez, that girl is seriously NAIVE and DENSE. What is she, 20 yrs old? 21? 22? Her obtuse innocence is starting to grate on me. I mean, I want her to stay the cute Rio she is, just a bit more street smart about things, ya know? And the two men - I am rooting for Fujishima for now, simply because Hikaru on the surface seems nice but he is actually quite sly and got her drunk. And if Fujishima didnt intervene, who knows what cudv happened?
