haha, i think i don't completely disagree with you. the first couple in general are so problematic. dojin is a prejudiced asshole, rapes hyesung from the beginning and then falls in love with that annoying brat with absolutely NO redeeming qualities and ends impregnating him. just,, what? responsibility, have you heard of it?
and hyesung just.... leaves the baby? like that? after he's already extorted money from dojin? throughout the whole manga, i never felt like hyesung had any parental love for byul. it's only dojin who's stuck caring for a baby with no prior experience and it feels like he truly loves the baby. but hyesung? he still acts like a brat towards everyone including the poor child. i was so surprised when i learnt he was 20 bc he acts like a 7 year old, honestly
in short, the first couple is just "two stupid, mean people tormenting each other"
also, at some points in the story, i was legit hoping the dojin just gets together with heesoo, since he's so much less annoying (plus he's cute!) and he also loves byul. well that was until the other alpha was properly introduced anyway.
jiwon has become so much softer. it's precious to see him treat dg so affectionately, especially compared to before.
i'm sorry but zenitsu's insistence on calling nezuko his wife makes me want to puke and also punch him. he is SO irritating when he does this.
also, i hope nothing goes wrong from here on out. i do want them to have a happy ending.
this will always be one of my most favourite and beloved manga/hwa/hua. the characters are absolutely lovely and story is short but cute. i end up sobbing every time i read this!
i wish this fandom was bigger so i could see fanart/fics for this couple, but i suppose you can't have everything.
