Can someone give me a quick recap of what the fuck happened until now? I remember the female leads brother tried to mollest / abuse her and the ml went kinda berserk. What happened after that? And what is the king talking about?
Ruby's brother, Cezar, scattered monsters across the city to distract everyone while he tried to force Ruby to return to their country with him. She stood up for herself and spoke her mind, which her brother didn't like at all, and threw her against the wall. Afterwards, Iske shows up and stabs Cezar before going in again to try to kill him (deserved). Iske's father stops him, and Cezar runs away. Iske, after checking Ruby's okay, runs off to "protect" the Frost Dragon because he knows it's very dear to Ruby. The protection in this case is just distracting it while not letting anyone else get close to it. Blahblah, Ruby and Ellenia run to where Iske is and see his showdown with the Frost Dragon. Iske wins and is able to subdue the Frost Dragon and free it from its rampage. Iske passes out (looks dead) and Ruby screams for a medic.
Afterwards it just time skips to two days later, Iske wakes up to not find Ruby beside him. He freaks out and tries to search for her, but then Ruby shows up and comforts him. They talk about what happened and whatnot, it was very sweet and touching.
As for the king, he asks Iske how he could suspect his wife's family and whatnot, and then states they can't charge Cezar with anything because there's no physical evidence that points to Cezar. He also mentions he's displeased by the fact Iske never mentioned to him that Ruby could communicate with monsters. That's really all he pretty much said tbh
So the 2 whole chapters of Iske and king talking sums upto ' my wife's family is behind this , and my wife can talk to monster ' .
