Okey but " how to survive as a main in a horror game " is not horror. I liked the story because it seemed unique at first but I was also expecting some horror shit like the name suggests. But this story truly ate. I was expecting this one to be similar to the maid one. But it's wayyyy better. And I also like how the ml isn't instantly head over heals. Also there is horror and elements of it being a game. And with everything the romance is also well balanced.

I know this is a red flag ml story. And heck yea I love red , scratch that black flag mls so much. But for some reason I can't bring myself to root for Mathias. Maybe because the story feels realistic?? My blood boils whenever I see Mathias eyes Laila. In a alternative universe I hope Laila would end up with kyle.

I know everyone is entitled to their own opinion . But to say the characters are poorly written? ( Unless we are comparing them to idk ,Nobel worthy book characters??) . Yeah all of us have different standards but these characters are not poorly written. Not Ruby at least , nor Izek( Valentino is an exception , idk why that bastard is so twisted) . I get where Izek is coming from . I also don't want to follow my parents footsteps and make another person miserable. And for my girl Ruby , she endured so much abuse , yet she was able to keep up a happy facade on the outside. I didn't have the best childhood, but it wasn't as bad as some people go through , yet I find myself wishing life to end , like the coward I'm . But Ruby doesn't think about ending her life , not once ( at least not until because of that bastard valentino ) . Physically she is very weak, but mentally she is one of the toughest characters. Not all of us are going to agree with her method of survival. But in my eyes my girl did what she had to do .

Yeah I agree, but to the manhwa they compared it to. This is definitely not as well written. Lost in the cloud talks about much more heavier, topics like child sexual abuse and its realistic setting with realistic events about abuse victims. I had to drop it because it was too realistic and really triggering. Maybe that’s what they were looking for. I don’t know. I thought their argument was stupid since I don’t think you should compare a psychological thriller to a fantasy romance. Like they’re completely two different genres and clearly one is gonna be more realistic.
This is so f*cking chaotic. But I'm loving this chaos.
