Well it's because her not saying stuff will cause issues and she wouldn't be like "haha f you" if anything if he gets hurt she'll probably feel bad the only reason she speaks short and to the point is because she's not used to being around others and wasn't taught about subtlety which I don't have a problem with her being direct she just doesn't say enough actually I prefer her being direct but she stays a little too quiet when she needs to speak up even if it's just to her dad

I think since Estrella can see everyone else's aura she probably already have a hint that the fake will not back out if she do say that he shouldn't join and I don't think its just the aura of the disease but also his hatred.
And actually it'd be weird if Estrella suddenly became so vocal when the story is basically just starting to move and if you think of it, it even looks like it was a few weeks after she was picked up if you put irl timeline. Also about her dad toleratinf his child's bs is probably related on how he's so against with the idea of bringing Estrella in the center of the problem. He only agreed in bringing her because it is his duty as a king and he's still obviously wants to pull her out in the situation if only she did not agree.

No he never saw her as a mother figure. And he more closer to the butler then her. Literally the first chapter shows it. Tita was always up under the butler. Sure tita grew closer to her but in the beginning he was only close to the butler. He had a hard time being close to the fl despite him admiring her when he was young.
That was literally only in the first few chapters because he had heard about her LMAO and was scared at first because she seemed to dislike him I'm not saying he isn't close with the butler but saying he didn't see her as a mother figure or elder sister after that awkward phase is ridiculous @_@
