I think its because with these newer villainess/side character stories have developed a trope for having the original angelic heroine be a two faced b*$ch. Peoples expectations are subconsciously set after reading a few stories that follow this trope.
So far I get the impression that the sister actually is good and may have her own issues. Everyone loves her but does she really feel comfortable with it? A few scenes she looked a bit upset. Maybe things aren't quite as rosy for her as first impressions suggest.
Yeah but in most of those stories it shows them actually being total bitches and faking in front of people they wanted to impress now if instead of defended her she would have laughed with them it would have been different but she didn't so I think she is genuinely a really sweet person
I thought she was evil at first cause I thought she was taking advantage of situations where she could make her sister look bad. Like cmon when her sister apologized the girl fr ran away crying and also with the scene of giving her sister a gift, girls around be making fun of her appearence and then when she confronted the bully it be making it like she is the good one and really does "love" her sister. But yeah ig for now I've accepted she really does like her sister and I do like the vibe they both have now :).
well technically at that part where she ran away crying to her brother or if he just saw her crying all she got to say was her sister's name and he immediately ran and went to go yell at her without letting her finish what she was trying to say @.@
ngl I was suprised the brother was kinda chill when he was thinking the sister mightve been innocent and him realizing he could be just yelling at her for no reason I was like : 0... not many people can do that in plots similar to this lmaoo
The communication between these two is just- perfect I love it! It's so rare actually I haven't read a story where the miscommunication didn't drag on for like 10 plus chapters before and I'm surprised
