I really don't like how Cain and Edward are breaking apart I love their friendship but it's getting more vividly clear that it is breaking apart into little bitty pieces and I will cry if he's the traitor if you think about it it makes the most sense since Cain has seen all of the drawings and designs for the weapons and was constantly around Rino and watching her make different things
Well my way of thinking is even if he does have feelings for her he knows that she loves Edward and we also don't know what's been happening over the last 3 years that she has been gone a lot of things could have changed over that period of time including Cain and Edward's relationship these last few chapters have made it seem like the relationship is really not that good anymore I personally don't think that my sweet-hearted Cain would ever do such a thing but it would definitely hurt if he was the spy I don't want it to be some random person that we've never even seen before
omg what if,, cain was originally very sus about rino BECAUSE he was a spy (so he wondered where rino came from, what to report, etc) and then later on he got guilty about it cause he started liking her.
and when she left, he knew she wasnt a spy (cause it was him ) and felt MORE guilt but hoped that rino wouldn't come back, so she can be safe.
as for cain and edward, edward thought rino was a spy and had betrayed him, and helped the emperor to attack his people. and cain watched edward become more and more miserable and felt guilty, straining their relationship. ne ways this is just what i thought i really hope cain isn't a bad guy
OMGGGG stop iiiit I don't want to believe he's the bad guy but it would also explain why that one scene where he was fighting the princes guard or whatever felt so weird it was kind of like they knew each other omg no I refuse he can't be the bad guy but it would literally be perfect he's Edward's right hand man so he trusts him wholeheartedly, he's gotten to see the designs on paper and seen them in action directly, and the prince didn't kill him when he almost killed the guard which was hella weird like why would he do that? UNLESS Cain was useful to him? AHHHH and thinking about him having a guilty conscience over it this whole time breaks my heart nope nope NO I refuse to believe it until the story straight out says that he's the spy
But what if there isn't a spy? What if the prince sent in one of his own guys and they got the designs for the weapons? IDK!!! But I really don't want it to be Cain and I don't think it was impossible for them to be able to find those papers and designs after Rino left I feel like I'm just making up excuses but I refuse to believe that it's Cain until they straight up say it's Cain
I thought his whole point of going back 10 years was to stop big things from happening? Yet it doesn't seem like he's stopping the grand(??) Lion from being the cause of the alliance war? And is instead just preparing for it..? and he could have saved his friends at the end and went back to Earth cause he had enough points for it so I don't understand his purpose?? I was thinking maybe it was because he wouldn't be able to live normally back on Earth after all the things he had done so he just rewinded his life back ten years which is the only reasonable explanation I can come up with as to why he rewinded time
He's not trying to stop "Big things from happening", he's just trying to find ways where he can go through them again without having to experience the same pain he went through. He's not a saint (otherwise, he would've used his wish to save the majority, or he would've saved those peeps in the tutorial round), he's just an opportunist that doesn't want the short end of the stick.
And, this is just my opinion, but I think he doesn't want to change the events that much because it'll affect the future he knows and it may disrupt his plans and leave so many uncertainties.
That's what I'm saying though? Like he literally had the opportunity at the end of the game to go back to Earth with his friends that he had met in that world that he is in now so he really had no reason to go back 10 years and restart? It just doesn't make any sense to me because it's not like he's trying to change any of the big events that's happening that's why I'm saying that it seems like he only knows how to live in this world because he has lived there for so long already that he won't even know what to do with himself if he were to go back on Earth I don't really see how going back 10 years and going through all that hell again is an opportunity?
If I remember correctly, something went wrong with his wish so he couldn't revive his comrades that saved him when he was kidnapped. He could've gone back to earth, but that wouldn't have changed the fact that the "friends" He made in that world is already dead (not to mention it was his fault too). I haven't read the novel yet, but I heard he also went back time, out of spite, to get revenge on the angels that brought him there. Because -
Spoiler from another manhua
In it's sequel, he managed to banish a few angels to another world so they can also risk their lives to save it just like what they did to him and the rest of the earthlings with their world. Serves them right, I guess?
Can someone explain why he kept saying we?? It was really bothering me ngl
It's a term royalty uses to describe themselve, was it benwang? Or something like that? Some use this king or this emperor... kinda like the girls use this humble girl or this servant, this slave, this consort etc...
Believe me... using we is better them translating him as saying this emperor instead... xD
It’s the imperial ‘I’, in different languages there’s often different words to show different levels of respect and closeness, that all have the same general meaning therefore because English doesn’t have these kind of words this is the best way to translate it. If you read a lot of these kind of story’s you’ll find the emperors all use we, and sometimes will even make use of the difference when they go through an emotional moment
So it's obvious that Benjamin is The reincarnation of her old best friend right? But what is the point? Why have they all been reincarnated together? And why is she the only one with her memories? I was thinking maybe it was so they could have a second chance at a better life but I kind of hope there is a better reason than that
