Sooooo many of you are hating on Jaekyung saying how he’s not redeemable and saying how there is no character development even after 60 chapters. But painter of the night was exactly the same, and yet everyone loved Seungho (and he was definitely worse than Jaekyung). Also, everyone called the story a masterpiece even though there was also no character development even after the 60th chapter. So yeah, I can’t wait to see y’all being big hypocrites at the end of this shitty story and call Jaekyung a green flag, cause we all know where the story is heading even if yall don’t want to accept it. The second he’ll act just a little bit nice, you will all forget, forgive, and fangirl (just like Kim). I had lost faith in him in the first season cause he was such a pushover who “fell in love” with someone who had never once been nice to him, only cause he felt “thankful” for all the abuse JK caused him, but the last chapter gave me hope for his own character development. I feel like he stopped seeing JK with a stupid “love filter” and he actually realized that he’s been treated like shit. But I also know I shouldn’t have too much expectations when it comes to the author cause she’s a great artist (when it comes to drawings) but not a great writer. So we’ll see.

This is making me misogynistic fr. I absolutely despise all the women in this story. They’re all so insufferable. And tbf I’m even starting to wonder if the author actually has a thing against women in general for creating a story like that. Or if it’s just a way to draw his kinks while proclaiming it’s psychological when it’s just implicit porn rooted in misogyny and milf sexual fantaisies. I’m still curious about the story but it’s so damn frustrating. I’ll see how many more chapters my frustration and anger issues can handle before I stop reading this and finally put a stop to the torture.

Why does « psychological yaoi » always involve rape ? Isn’t it possible to write a psychological story without including rape ? Also it’s so overdone, not original at all. At some point let’s just change « psychological » with « not romanticized rape » directly. Cause some of those stories are not that psychological, it’s more like « dark romance », and the only « psychological » aspect is the rape that is not romanticized.
