I dont really remeber much from the light novel, since it is pretty drawn out. But the main part is that she ends up pregnant with the emperors baby, so the emperor wants her to be empress so that the baby will be an heir, since he doesnt think that the empress can have children after eating some poisoned sweets as a kid. But his plan was after trashata is empress momentarily to kick her off and bring our empress back in, but that never happened. The empress only heard the part of the emperor planning to make trashata empress. So the king offered to let her become his queen, and she accepted. So at the banquet when the emperor is like "I wanna divorce you for being so mean to my rashata" the king is like "will you marry me instead" and the empress says yes. The novel was dropped shortly after she reached his home land though.

Sorry im a bit confused but the empress ends up leaving with kind Henley ( or queen idk ) to his land after he proposes im assuming ? So does that mean the emperor n trashta were left to be together in the empire. I just really dont want the emperor n his side bitch to have a satisfying ending together

I read another reply that went further then I did. Our empress actually ends up pregnant with Henley, which makes the emperor realize he was the infertile one, because I forgot the mention they both ate the poisoned chocolate together as kids, which means trashata cheated, and they said the emperor did a very satisfying refenge on her, and is now alone with no heir

i think maybe something about the way characters are drawn and the weird atmosphere and tension of this story just makes everyone seem really suspicious? i really really really hope they're just overly friendly adventurers!

same here...everyone in that group is just suspicious to me somehow especially that tall guy its his eye... I don't understand how the MC is going along with this he's so trusting. I feel like everyone in the group is asking too many questions and getting so much information off him like they are prying too much. Gosh I wish i'm just over thinking ugh!

yea, i wanna believe in them and hope they're just wanting to recruit him. i wanna believe they aren't shady and troublesome!

I think the group now are good people phew! but I think some other kid looking character is after him? take this with a pinch of salt coz I can't read japanese but thats what it looked like. Theres this owl that keeps spying on him too.
But all is good people the group turned out to be nice people. (≧∀≦)
this can only prove that we are so corrupted with reading the stories with the bad outcomes... （/TДT)/

lol, i'm glad that we jaded readers can get some relief knowing sometimes our corrupted minds are wrong and goodness still exists in some characters!
