okay lowkey i know the maid was there by his side for years but what does a maid know about the responsibilities of becoming the lady of a household?? also he doesn’t even love her, so what good is he doing by pushing all of this responsibility onto the poor maid? not to mention the societal pressure especially as a lady of a prominent household.. it would have been better if he gave her a higher position as a thanks. call me that one friend that’s too woke but the lack of romance and choices scream “i know nothing about women but the purer the better”. if he was actually a competent man of the household he would have considered her position. idk not lindsay’s fault anyways, author just loves their plot holes…
Since he married Lindsey, she should have become the lady of the house. Instead his mother is still Lady Pendragon and Lindsey is a decoration to keep other women away ,which is working out terribly btw so what is her real purpose?? The sliver hair girl is literally in love with Eren and always around blushing and giving him longing glances. I know in the later chapters he's seen viewing her like his OG mom but damn? That's weird cause she's supposed to be his wife? There's no arc where she learns how to be a Duchess or help out in the way a Duchess should. She's just there to chill with the sister and look nice. She was WAYYYYYY more useful as a maid.
o right, i was too blinded by how ridiculous her position in the manga was to remember that his mother is still alive.. but literally , her position in this manga is so sad… the author must have some sort of oedipus complex the way he presents the ‘female lead’ like that
To be honest with y'all it would have been better if this romance is not in the story at all like bro she reminded him of his mother as Raven then starting to like her or show familiarity with her when he was just using her as a shield and decoration without even loving her and also in the situation when he was thinking that if Sygron is in love with him not just as Eren Pendragon and what so not it would've been better if it just focuses on his revenge plan than to add romance that doesn't make sense or destroys the plot
the pacing is so fast, i don’t mind the art but the storyline in the beginning is absolutely whack. not quite sure if the author really knows how to build up a backstory
its so hard to get through the translation from ch 30 onwards. they keep misgendering everyone and mix up the names of characters, i’ve gone through many bad translations but this one hurts my head to piece together TT
