I was thinking about reading this but kingdom's really fucking good, try reading the first few chapters of it. Things really start picking up around ch 30-100. That's how I immediately got hooked on it and I have absolutely no regrets at all. There's also little to no romance, so if you like that I'd definitely give it a shot. Even if you don't, it's still really good.
