In this case, I think it's normal for FL to be wary or scared of her situation, considering that original Jubellian, although was a 'villainess', she was innocent. Although she loved Mikhail, she didn't plot to harm Mikhail's love interest, even when she hated her. The lack of communication between her and the duke made her believed that she was unloved until her death.
But wtf is Ginger doing? She said she would not act ambiguously, but she went on a date with Hamel. Wth? If someone keeps hanging around me, flirting and confessing that they like me, like Ginger has done to Izana many times, I would feel very betrayed if they suddenly acted like that. Also, I like Hamel and I like that he respects Ginger's feelings, but she just rejected him and he is creating conflict between her and Izana on purpose, which is not cool, especially considering they're supposed to be friends.
