i love the main couple so much... theyre very little drama because of how trusting they are with each other and i doubt they've ever thought about someone other than each other. i don't mind that there's not that many main couple scenes after they start dating bc lets be real, theyre probably so in love that they dodge every single drama flag thats possible in a story like this. have u literally seen how jiwoon looks at her boyfriend? so in love....
and the 2nd couple! i kinda like their messiness. its not like a third party is causing their complications anyways, its mostly jay and bora overthinking it all because they're trial dating and not official.
to begin with, bora is hesitant about being open because she's scared of getting hurt. she knows jay is really popular and, because she doesnt trust her girl friends all that much, she doesnt want to admit that theyre dating and ruin her relationships. its not her fault, and jay understands that! they set good boundaries with each other. but on the flip side, because she's hiding her relationship, things are GOING to get messy because people will still think one or the other is single. even moreso if theyre hiding a relationship, which is VERY hard to hide. people are going to misunderstand. theres no one perfect solution for the situation theyre in, but because i know theyre main characters and a couple, theyll probably pull through anyways lol. i like that, very realistic highschool relationship story.
do i think Bora and Jay should be together? honestly, i dont think they should be in a relationship right now. its kind of set up to fail with Bora's friends and situation. but theyre cute together. they like each other and are comfortable! i like that.
is the manga implying that the vampire who raised her is... in love with her? theyre really unclear on whether its familial love or romantic love, but everyones treating it like romantic love so much that its making me uncomfortable. he raised her, so he's known her since she was a child... a lot of the later chapters are touching on this dynamic and it worries me that the vampire and the mc might be endgame
