OK, I know its a bit harsh to call yeonju a bitch at this point but she's acting like a self conceited ass. She isn't treating hari as a friend but as an object to get her life together. I'm sorry yeonju but this isn't build a bear workshop, you l i t t e r a l l y manipulate your friends. (that we've seen so far). IDK why buy yeonju is pissing me off more than the othersᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ

When I read mangas with child neglect, most of them include said parent to feel regret. But this woman---- THIS WOMAN REALLY DO BE MAKING ME WANT TO TAKE HER EYES AND SHOVE IT UP HER ASS TO SEE ALL OF THE BULLSHIT SHES DOING. She takes 0 accountability and she had the nerve to forget how many years she hasn't seen her son her own SON. She prioritises her relationships with her boyfriend(s) rather than her relationship with her own damn son. I get it, if she didn't like her husband, that's fine. But your he isn't him, he doesnt deserve to feel like shit because of you HhHhhHhhH.

    You’re right!

If they haven’t met each other for 6 years according to Hozumi, and in Japan, high school years are only for 3 years and he got beat in his first year, either the mother went to see him unknowingly to Hozumi which is why she said 3 years, or she really didn’t give Hozumi a second thought at all.

Glad he’s with his father. His father may act like a cold bastard, but at least we have some sort of inkling that he has Hozumi in mind while the mother .... *sigh*

It worries me that if Hozumi went with her to her new partner’s home and if that partner has kids of their own; would she actually give them more attention than our Hozumi? The way she acts and behaves worries me on how she actually let herself go of what should have been guilt of leaving her own son behind without anything to give him courage of living on.

I feel like she would ignore hozumi and give all her attention to her new kids, but she would do it in a way where she's doing it indirectly so that she could seem like a good parent if ygm(?) but at the moment I'm hoping for the dad to at least have a talk with hozumi so that he doesn't have to be a petty ass(;´༎ٹ༎`)

She would deffinetly favor the other kids and pay no attention to him, using the 'i don't have such a strong connection to you since i have not raised you' as an excuse

And she would also tell him to look after himself, cause he is 'old enough'... She did say in the last chapter that he should just endure it and move out... She didn't say come to me or contact me that bi***

I could also imagine her sending hozumi away to live on his own, cause her husband might not like it (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜

That's exactly what I thought. The way the mother acts reminds of this manga (I will leave a link at the end for it) where it's about a yaoi couple. The uke was previously married until the wife left him and his daughter. I believe a couple months or maybe a year after that, the mother decides to take the daughter back in which after some thinking, the Uke agrees and the daughter goes to the not just the mother, but her new partner and his son.

After some time there, the daughter is obviously home sick and misses her father, but doesn't really show it. One day, the son starts interacting with her and then attempts to grab her hair piece from her hands. She doesn't let go until a little crack can be heard and the thing whacks it on his head. In retaliation, he stomps on it, breaking which, of course, made her mad and she pushed him and the brat starts crying.

Mother rushes in and starts comforting the boy, but instead of hearing both sides of the story, she only listened to the boy's and told her daughter, not to be rough which leaves the girl in shock.

Like what? I would be in shock too if my own mother didn't ask me what happened and instead comforted a boy she never gave birth to over me who she carried for 9 months.

And here's where things pisses me off and actually glad that Hozumi didn't go through this, but sad that the daughter did.

They go to an amusement park, but they unintentionally leave the daughter out as she was always trailing behind them while they all look so happy. And when the mother finally pays attention to her, the girl is gone.

Thankfully, after searching and putting up missing statements, she just decided to go back home where her father is at where they meet again. The father wasn't mad as he understood that she didn't fit in, but what makes this so frustrating is that the mother didn't immediately go over there to check up on her until the next day.

When they all meet to talk, the mother's only excuse for not coming that day was because of the things at the police station.

Anyway, overall, I'm just glad Hozumi didn't have to go through what this girl went through even thought it was like 3-5 days for her.
