I'm not arguing with anything you're saying and completely agree that just because an omega is in heat doesn't mean they should have no say in whether or not they want to have sex, but it also doesn't help that in literally EVERY omegaverse the omega forgets their pills... and they forget AFTER being told the dangers... Their logic is always: "i should still have a bit of time left before my heat so i'll take it later." which is basically them saying "I SHOULDN'T, in theory, have to worry about giving off sex pheromones until a little later so there is only a possibility of me being violently raped and impregnated, SHOULD be okay!" If you know that your heat is coming, even if it isn't on you yet, why WOULDN'T you take your pill? I realize that in a lot of omegaverse the pill has negative side effects, but it's either you take the pill because you know you're close to going into heat and feel shitty for a while or you don't and get raped violently by an alpha who can't physically control himself near you and feel like shit for 9 months...

i agree with you but sometimes the pill don't work at all in some cases especially when the omegas are young and in their teens. and forgetting to take something you've never used before in your life is very normal. i tend to forget to take my pills before my period and it hurts like a bitch and it's something i have been using for ten years and i still forget. the point is we all forget even if it's a everyday thing we do. i feel like they're narrating a cliche story about a girl who went on a stroll alone for some minutes and got raped bcuz she was a girl. they should have pills for violent alpha too who can't help but rape the poor uke who is in heat. let them do that....

The alphas can take the pills too, it's just that the alphas aren't the one who go around emitting strong sex pheromones that affect even betas and drive alphas into a frenzy. The problem isn't the alphas, it's the omegas and that is why they take the pills. An alpha can go his entire life without causing trouble for anyone else provided he is never exposed to an omegas pheromones, while as an omega HAS to apply for sick leave during their heat and as i said the pheromones effect betas as well, not just alphas. Its an inconvenience for everyone involved. I don't believe you comparing yourself forgetting to take your pills before your period to an omega forgetting to take his pills before a heat that they always feel is coming soon (they physically feel their heat coming on before it happens) makes any sense. One has minor consequences and the other has dire consequences, you comparing the two is like you comparing you and your pills and someone with a terminal illness who takes pills. If you're told you need to take these pills, or you WILL BE RAPED... VIOLENTLY... you'll take the damn pills, you won't forget...

Also, omegaverse has literally nothing to do with girls getting raped for being girls, please don't go there. Omegaverse is a derivative of the concept of werewolves and their mating habits, it takes the concept of "alpha, omega and beta" and applies it to humans. The reason there is so much rape is because it is realistic, if an omega forgets their pills and goes into heat in a crowd of people with even ONE alpha around they ARE going to get raped and probably pregnant. period. That is how that works, omegas physiology is literally made for that, the heat comes along to get pregnant and the pheromones are released to attract a suitable partner.

Sorry if i sounded aggressive, it wasn't my intention, it's just that you don't know what you almost unleashed. It's best to avoid topics like that in these comments section unless it is actually canonically in the manga (as obviously it makes sense to bring it up if you're talking about the manga). If i had let that talk of how the manga "seems to be narrating a girl getting raped for being a girl" continue this comment would've quickly went from talking about the manga to a bunch of keyboard warriors on here to discuss nothing but how horrible rape is and other uncomfortable topics that you didn't actually want to talk about.

The problem with what you suggested as a solution to the rape issue in omegaverse (the gun or tazer) is that the alphas genuinely can't control themselves in the presence of an omega's pheromones. It ISN'T their fault... Don't get me wrong, i know there're some omegaverse where the alpha is an asshole and takes advantage of the situation because he knows everyone will assume it was an accident (in those instances it'd be fine if he got shot), but in quite a few omegaverse the omega forgets or chooses not take his pills and is then raped by an alpha stranger who has nothing to do with this and then they just make the most of the relationship. Yes, it sucks that the omega was raped, but does that mean that the alpha deserves to be shot because of something he can't control? A tazer would prove useless as when in contact with the alpha pheromone omegas lose their strength, they literally can't fight back and you'd have to be close to taze. Stungun MIGHT work... depends on the omega's physical condition, a lot of them have trouble even walking while in heat.
