It kind felt rushed and something feels kinda off on how carrot boy and weed head was suddenly cut off? and wheres the children after story? damn anyone who has link on the novel.
this is the fuck up that i wanted. perfect. and the tension was raised so high when fontaine mentioned that, and yessir, im down with all these tension, like fuck. can we forget White haired ML and just focus on the tension between them.

im so glad i made peace with this manga a very long time ago. sighs. i was so heart broken when I finished this back then. but i think sometime ago i read that it was up to the readers if we want the ending wherein takuma died and continue living this dream, or it was just continuation of what Takuma dreamed. Im not sure if the mangaka changed their mind or not, seeing the comments how there was an allegedly interview where they confirmed he was alive. i dunno, but that was what i remember and thats how i made peace with this heart wrenching manga. i read the manga of course before watching and honestly i fuckin hate the movie ( i was teen who was slapped with that death) lol.
so anyhoos, i just stumbled again here searchin for amnesia plots. just wanna share some light to yall who probably cant sleep after reading the ending. lol.
PS this author is the same author of paradise kiss and bokura ga ita. shes a pro in fucking up ur mind with what ifs and what couldve been.

I loved this so much! I read this as a kid and felt sad but now I understand the love, pain, hospital experience, and everything. Crazy but I thought that whole open-ended and even before the author was to say he made it, I just believed he did. Especially since they hadn’t shown his farewell photo in the end. This story hits for me since I lost my brother to an illness quite identical to Takuma and how doctors handled it poorly but somewhat found peace through this story in Takuma’s case I know he made it. I wish that was the case for my big bro, but like they showed in this story, my brother doesn’t have to suffer or restrict himself any more, just that Takuma was to experience more time. I love my big bro forever and I love Takuma x Mayu!
