Plot was revolving around the mysterious queen of Egypt Nefertiti(if i find it again i’ll go back to this comment). FL time travels to ancient Egypt, meets ML, falls inlove, unable to defy “history”, FL goes back to present and promises ML that they will find each other again, FL saw all the statues and temple, and hieroglyphics message left by ML and then boom, she meets ML reincarnation with memories intact.
my point is, the plot might go with the same flow. Present MC meets rocky, rocky disappears, MC time travels then meets ML, i guess the flow of history will eventually take place, and MC might be sent back to the present again by the gods, and there he’ll meet the reincarnated ML.
As for how they meet again on that tomb, remember when MC mentioned that the people of ebiz highly regards death and reincarnation, this might have been a clue that ML will find a way for him to meet MC again. I’m guessing they figured out how to make a “living” corpse puppet (just like how MCKs brother was achieving)
As for the narration on how the kingdom fell, idw think too much into it since there are a lot possibilities. So i just wanted to make myself feel good bcoz all the spoilers that there will be a tragedy is starting to give me anxiety hahaha. I feel like the disaster that Anubis saw was a timeline that would have happened if Yanzi hadn’t traveled back in time. Anubis doesn’t know who Yanzi is, other than being the King’s lover, nor does he know where Yanzi came from. Probably thought Yanzi was a foreigner from somewhere else, like the place where the King’s mother came from. He was surprised to see the modern world. I’m guessing Yanzi returns to modern times when he saves Ebis from the disaster and the king probably found away to seal himself or part of himself inside the statue in order to find Yanzi again in the modern times. It could be possible he used the fake King clone to accomplish this.
