There was magician that was doing animal experiments and he made mutant rabbit, that's Robbie
Robbie then ate magician
ML (King) found him interesting and took him with him to the castle
People in the castle weren't happy with him but King didn't care
Then king let's say trained robbie (that's why we see him choking him) because robbie is omnivore but can't control his carnivore instincts
Robbie doesn't know either that he's feeding on blood but in last chapter we can see he figured it out and ate animal he saved, the king looks proud of Robbie

Author/artist should just completly abandon novel's plot or at least it's ending
