A promo is short for promotional and it’s just a one chapter thing meant to promote the novel. It’s not bad per se it’s just that usually they’re good stories and it’s sad to not have it be actual manwhas. It’s usually pretty hard to get the raws for Korean webnovels bc kakao isn’t available for most countries out of Korea, most of us don’t speak Korean, the MTL unintelligible, etc. Novels are just a much harder medium to get consistent content from, if any (at least when compared to manwhas). It’s like we’re being teased

Heyy its because we wont be able to see the story continue with the art. A promo is used to hook their readers into reading the authors novel. So when you see "promo" it doesnt necessarily mean bad

only a few chapter will be published cause its made to promote the novel, it's not bad but its just the cliffhanger that makes it unbearable, some people can't read the novel cause it's hard to read or they may feel bored (sorry if its hard to understand)
