I'm here because of the sequel. Lol waiting for new chapters so in the meantime I'll read the first story

This is exactly how I feel; she has no qualities that make you hate her but instead just make you not like her too much. And even with my low rating on this I keep coming back even after my 3 rants...

Another thing with the MC is that her personality reminds me too much of your stereotypical shoujo heroine I mean I do like her and the concept of the webtoon where the mc reincarnates as a villainess character who has a husband and a son as it is a creative idea and one you don't see very often. But the one downside to her is that if I were to compare her to some of my other memorable villainess reincarnated characters she would no undoubtedly be on the bottom WAAAAY on the bottom.

And as to why I say she is like a shoujo heroine well just try to picture it let's say there was NO kid she had to care for she didn't have a husband but was instead ENGAGED instead of married and picture her and the duke in their teens. I can safely say even if she was reincarnated as a villainess if she was in a setting like the one I described and was younger in the body she reincarnated as she would more than likely ask like you stereotypical shoujo heroine.

And although she was supposed to be a daycare worker (granted I don't know anything about that line of work) but if she really did work there the kids must have been REALLY well behaved or she didn't work there very long if she was used to treating them like that. I might not know everything about caring for kids but from my experience of babysitting and watching over my younger siblings is that kids are NOT going to be well behaved ALL the time and there is going to be a time where you need to be firm to enforce good behavior.

I'm not saying she should be strict ALL the time but her over-doting behavior makes me think she NEVER dealt with quarrels between kids, NEVER had to scold them for hitting another person or any disputes between two or more kids. She acts more like someone who liked kids but never had the experience of someone who was in a career that helped care for a child and or a group of children. And one last thing I will take note of is that is She never calls upon her experience of caretaker who provided guidance/care to a child in any form or way as part of her job which she uses to help Ain.

Okay I think that is enough rambling I do like this webtoon otherwise I would NOT be reading it but like with some other webtoons I have read it does bare some flaws in it that are irritating. Buuuut hopefully we will see some character growth/development in the MC later on as the story progresses but if not that's fine these few issues won't keep me from enjoying this webtoon regardless of the things I will like and or dislike as I continue to read it.

I can't wait for any kind of twist that will happen to the original story in the future after all these changes!

I do study childcare & education.
And I can say that her behaviour is totally not logic for a caretaker.
As a caretaker, we should not have any bias on the children and their family.
But she did it... she is being biased on her views of the Duke from beginning....
We usually try to make sure that the child's parent/family is involved a lot in the child's life.
So her ignoring and avoiding the Duke the whole times, while only start to face the Duke at that poison training scene, is totally not right....
In the manga, she keep forcing food to Ain..
That's not right.
As an educator, we shall make sure the child can freely answer and voice their opinion.
We ask them, "this is yummy, would you like more?"
Not telling them, "try this! Its yummy! Eat this! Its good!"
Some children who is craving attention, sometimes can force themself to do something they dont like or should not do just because their loved ones tell them to.
Example, a boy is already feeling full, but because he likes seing his mother happy when he eat whats given, the boy forced himself to eat. Usually this shit can cause obesity on the child.
However, in couple of the chapters, she did ask Ain for his own opinion, so I guess she can pass as a dotting mother who have a little bit knowledge on childcare & education?

I didn't even notice that. But i totally agree. I hope her character develops

I also thought it was a little weird, she doesn't rly act like someone who had many experience with kids
