I didn't understand certain parts about Rex, particularly why he is being mistreated by others (and who those "others" are) and whether or why he specifically targets the blond-haired guy.
So what I picked up from everything is that he’s a beta trying to join an Alpha only frat, and he’s pretending to be an alpha to get in. It seems he wants to get in because his family is well off (? Perfume company) and he’s trying to build connections or earn a name for himself (from the convo he had in the br w/ Brett). Nathan (the one who got shot) seems to be a typical asshole alpha that is doing frat initiation rituals, and he’s just being an extra asshole to Rex (the shooter) cuz he’s a beta.
Oh forgot to mention, from the beginning of Nathan showing up he had pics of hazing Rex on his phone….so it seems like he’s the one leading the hazing. So for Rex it’s probably just this long term build up of hate for Nathan.

I don’t think there is a 100% certain reason why he was targeting Brett yet! From what I could tell, he probably thinks Brett is part of the “lead” alpha gang and maybe just assumes he was in on a lot of the crap….but in the beginning, Brett IMMMEDIATELY spoke up about the hazing pics he saw in Nathan’s phone, and was like. “I thought we weren’t doing that anymore?” So he’s definitely not supporting hazing. He also really tried to give Rex good advice in the bathroom at the charity event. But Rex was so spiteful he didn’t even want to listen. So for now basically Rex is also just someone who’s been bullied to the point where he’s lost his marbles.

It’s actually good that he had specific targets in mind (not for the targets of course) and not just a crazy shooter…cuz then a lot more people would have died or got hurt. But hopefully Chul-woong got to him in time and stopped him from shooting anyone else.

Honestly im not justifying killing but i could care less about the others and it‘s not like the author is going to kill off the mc, it‘s more like a way to help the plot and im expecting them to grow closer after this

you gave a really good summary re. Rex! hmm maybe he thought that Brett was "looking down on him" and being patronizing when he gave that advice earlier on? but yea Brett isn't exactly a direct instigator unlike the others though i suppose in Rex's mind they're maybe "all one and the same"

so basically long story short up until the most recent chapters vinny has not cut ties with hummingbird and has not re joined. he is with sabbath crew now (the crew that the organization is tied to) and has improved in his cycling a lot. I forgot his name but the white-haired guy is trying to get him to dope to make sure he wins the competition. Vinny turned him down (thank god) but they're still trying to push him to do it. Hummingbird and sabbath are in the final round of the competition. (monster lost to hummingbird). Jay wanted answers to his uncle's death so him, dom, and monster all traveled to the US to see one of mahon's teammates (veil). they found a group of "drug dealers" that helped him discover where veil was. jay got kidnapped by Monster's friend from who was on the football team with him. (they were staying at monsters friends house) The friend brought jay to veil (mahons teammate) but he found veil to be on heavy drugs so he cant really ask him about his uncle. (this is where the recent chapters left off on). Shelly, june, minu, yuna, and mia haven't really been in these recent chapters so there's not much to say about them. They have been practicing and have improved, especially dom. Shelly has also been practicing with her dad for the final competition. ALSO vinny's mom is still alive. that's sums it up basically
