I just don't understand how in reincarnation plots, where the mc knows the future of what's to come, they never understand that by what they're doing differently from before will give them new reactions. Like, they're literally changing the entire story yet they still assume that everything will be like before

So I don't wanna get hated on, but I haven't read this yet(though it's on my list), but on a whim I decided to just read the last chapter, and I'm literally crying even though I don't know what happens in the story. Like the idea of having to wait that long for someone, and I could tell how in love he was, and then he dies and is able to see him again. Idk, that just made me cry.
