I read somewhere that psychopaths only recognize the good in what they do and not the bad. when I read this story, I totally thought that was true. Nozomu was only thinking that his actions to take Sumi out of destitution and have her marry him was helping her, but really she was hurting on the inside. He failed to realize this because he was going just a little cukoo (huge understatement! XD). But at least he opened his eyes in the end. It was pretty fun to read, so I don't regret anything! :)
