The Korean raw for the next two chapters are already out. Anyway, Carcel asks Emiliano if he didn’t leave the pendant for Ines to find in order for her to find him. Emiliano claims he was looking for her but didn’t want to meet her. He said he saw a vision of her killing their child and then killing herself. He knows that suicide means she will have memories so he used to pendant to confirm if she remembers. Since Carcel was able to find him, he understands she has memories and is probably reliving his death and the death of the child. He tells Carcel and he and Ines won’t be able to stand each other for a day with that kind of issue between them.

He tells Carcel to tell Ines to blame him. We then get a flashback to him in the previous TL telling Carcel he will leave the country with the child. What the manhwa doesn’t tell the reader is that Carcel is the one who was supposed to bring the child to him after saving his life but then Emiliano overthrew the plan by running back to Ines in a dangerous situation and got killed. That’s why two chapters ago, Emiliano said do you remember saving my life twice then Carcel said Emiliano made all his plans in vain because he went back on his own two feet and died. So, this is why Emiliano is saying Ines should blame him because he believes he could have at least raised their child by himself and Ines would not have had to see him die nor end up killing her child then herself.

He then tells Carcel to give Ines the fake pendant because it’s something that should have never been his in the first place. He adds that Carcel can give it to her when she opens up to him about her past. He also tells Carcel if he’s willing to die for Ines, he should live beside her instead. He tells Carcel not to repeat his mistake of dying on Ines. Then they part ways.
