i think that arc would be pretty large because i think that the reason why the doctor stop being a doctor was because he make a mistake operating natsuo's mom so its going to get dramatic
in that case i wouldn't mind to have '' large arc '', because the main couple a little boring ( don't get me wrong ) I love them and they are cute but from 1 ch. endtil now nothing interesting happened in their story, so I really prefer to have a long arc about Natsuo& Sensei, since they are my favorite.
and if the reason like you said, so I can't wish a better story to see how they become a lover

Yeah and it's a nice change from the parents or family rejecting their child because of who they love. Though I do like the ones where either the family like still loves their son and accept him for who he is but still pretends they don't accept the relationship even though you know they totally do. Kind of like in Niremba Koi
