UGHHHH they ruined the character with that shit comment about “if I was single” I’m genuinely crashing out

The thing is they kinda made their relation into “tsundere uke x overly friendly seme” which made me sooo mad !?? Isn’t bro in a relationship with the perfect prettiest uke !!!! And hibiya was kinda looking mesmerized when he realized he stopped crying UGHHHHH analyzing this is making me feel more mad

Tbf when i analyzed it i think it kind of makes sense with their personalities..
yoshino is super soft and tends to think of other ppl first before himself. So of course he couldn’t say no when rou wanted to help his coworker even if it kinds crosses proper boundaries. He is also often self sacrificing in the relationship (like in vol 1 saying he doesn’t mind if rou is just playing with him, or now in vol 2 trying to give a BJ so rou doesn’t leave him)
While rou is not very good at considering other ppl’s feelings, all his previous relationships weren’t even serious, so of course he couldn’t see what’s wrong with him staying over. On one hand he is quick to get close to ppl, on the other hand he is overly chatty and flirty
I think their characterization was consistent from the first vol, and there is some character development where yoshino learns to say things he is uncomfortable with and rou learns to place himself in other people’s shoes. So this plot kind of makes me mad but also somewhat acceptable.. at least when rou promised never to make yoshino say that kind of stuff again, i can give him a second chance… maybe ( ̄へ ̄)

I agree with every word you say however what’s really wrong is how everything in Vo2 is introduced, why is it necessary to show how hibiya stopped crying and was giving rou those looks after he tried to comfort him + the comment about being single + how the mangaka made hibiya character to be in a relationship with a married man the whole time (kinda hinted that he could go for Rou if he wanted to )but overall as you mentioned Rou promised to do better and was pretty oblivious to how he crossed boundaries with his coworker so I half forgive him (still mad at the mangaka he could introduced the coworker to the bar owner from the very beginning spare us the angst )

It was definitely on purpose i think the author wanted us to feel what yoshino was feeling which is insecure, not sure whether something could develop between rou and the coworker. If it wasn’t shown this way maybe some ppl would have criticized yoshino for being insecure, but this way we all can relate to his feelings
But yea i would’ve happily read a sequel where nothing happens and they’re just being lovey dovey (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
The author likes some kind of angst in their stories
When is my turn ??????
