Usually there are a crew of artists working on a manga. The assistants often do the background and ink and tone. Sometimes things get rushed and its easier to notice when something doesn't match. (=・ω・=)
Oh, I see. I know that the mangaka has to work with a team of illustrators. I assumed that they only work on backgrounds, sceneries, and stuff. (￣∇￣")
