To any people that happened to stumble across this that don't really know anything about it...
GO.READ.THE.NOVEL.FIRST
You won't really understand a lot of what's going on without it. The art is beautiful, but you should only read it after the novel or you will be missing out on a LOT. The novel is absolutely stunning, I still have quotes stuck in my head. Probably one of my favourite lgbtq couples of all time.

I don't know much but I'm pretty sure the death threats thing was a rumour and started off as a joke, but what I do know is that a massive part of the BNHA fandom is incredibly toxic. The joke (if it was a joke idk) exists for a reason. Crazy shippers need to calm the fuck down. Like, I love Kiribaku as much as the next person, but at the end of the day, THEY DO NOT EXIST AND THE CREATOR HAS COMPLETE CREATIVE FREEDOM OVER HIS OWN WORK AND DOES NOT HAVE TO MAKE THE SHIP CANNON, AT ALL.
I hate when people say the Haikyuu fandom is turning into the BNHA fandom just because there are a lot of male ships. Like, no. 99 per cent of the haikyuu fandom is chill, even the shippers, and although they may argue about certain ships, at the end of the day, no one is sending death threats or signing petitions to get ships to be cannon.
It's gotten to a point where the experience of reading the manga, watching the anime and things like that, has gotten ruined because of the hyperactive fandom. Obviously, I'll still support the creator and still watch the show, but I'd be lying if I said the fandom didn't ruin my experience. Which sucks.
Idk, through my years as *weeb* I've noticed how toxic the weeb community is. On one hand, you've got the toxic crazy shippers who are, em, crazy. On the other hand, you've got the misogynistic, homophobic, sexist, transphobic dudebros who are A OKAY with sexualising lesbians and watch loli shit. And what really irks me is that all this toxic shipping has made people think it's okay to be homophobic openly. So thanks for that.
In conclusion, I hate it here.

You know what? The first time I read this, I absolutely despised the ex. This time around, I still despised his actions, but at the same time, I found him somewhere hilarious. He's such a cruel, selfish person that I think he would make an incredible main character in a side story. Why did he end up like that? How will he become better? Unlike other manwha, he wasn't trying to come in-between the two male leads because he liked one of them, he did it because he's a terrible person that finds enjoyment in others sadness. Imagine if he had a redemption arc (like a season 2) where he meets someone who doesn't fall for his charms, and then realises how terrible a person he actually is? Idk, just thought that would be fascinating.
I hate people that say "who is the uke" like shut up you're the exact problem when it comes to the fetishization of gay people. This is exactly why we can't have nice things. There's more to gay people than sex thanks.
Thank you for saying that
