Koreans are so unoriginal… it’s all the same shit. Family member of uke is gravely ill, they work their asses off for their entire lives, they get spotted by some rich asshole, toxicness ensues. What’s the point of wasting a beautiful artstyle on such a trash plot?
Then you just don’t read good korean comics that much lol. What exactly are you trying to say by specializing "koreans"? do you think japan comics are better? well there’re also a lot of bad japan comics. So the point is it’s not depends on the country, you can just say you don’t like most of new comics, no need to mention any country lol. besides I think you can find almost all comics here in this website so don’t blame it when you just can’t find the good one lol
Just cos your standards are low doesn’t mean mine have to be. I don’t prefer any specific countries comics because I recognise they all have their flaws, which I will happily mention and complain about when I feel like it. I don’t feel bad for “insulting the good old manwhas” because there are so few of them. If the only examples of actually good work are a few outliers, then that means on average the quality of manwha is low.
Everyone’s being real angry towards Haru which I understand but like he hasn’t really done anything wrong. They probably knew eachother for like max, a year. And that’s pushing it. Sure it’s an asshole move to ditch your friend with no explanation, but you know what’s even worse… trying to barge into someone’s house while on LIVESTREAM!! I feel like we’re all glossing over the fact that that Reo is literally trying to commit a crime. Over some guy he knew in highschool and fell in love with. The yaoi has rotted some of y’all’s brains
You’re kind of missing the whole dynamic here. It’s not just “some guy he knew in high school.” Their bond ran deeper, and that’s why Reo’s actions, while wrong, actually make sense emotionally. Haru suddenly cut him off during graduation, and Reo was desperate to understand why.
Nobody’s saying what Reo did was right. Livestreaming and showing up like that definitely crossed a line, but reducing it to “he’s committing a crime over a crush” misses the point. It’s about a broken bond, miscommunication, and someone desperately clinging to a friendship that was already over, made even sadder by the fact that Haru left because he loves him.
A disappointing read. Both MC and ML have insane plot armour, so after halfway through there are just no more stakes because Yoon Jay is just the big alpha daddy that he is, so nothing can go wrong for him. The plot itself fails to hit hard when it needs to, like during big reveals, and ends up falling flat. Sex scenes are unerotic because they serve as a punishment to MC. Ending is… unsatisfying to say the least. Especially because the last plot twist was very obvious from the beginning. Maybe it’s because I had my hopes too high, which is why I’m so critical.
However… Fujoking has such a gorgeous art style, and I cannot help but stare at the portrait panels. Also, MC and ML are very interesting characters, even if they are kind of tropey. (I’m looking at you, Yoon Jay.) If you have nothing better to do, please do read it as the MC and MLs dynamic carries the entire story.
