I agree with this. He always blames his wife for not being there for his son (which is understandable) but I don’t see him blame himself not even once. Since the child was so neglected by his mother why hasn’t the father done anything? All he does is blame her and then act all lovey dovey.

I think he may be more disappointed than worried. He just mentioned earlier how kind Melissa is but now she's trying to get someone to assassinate her so they can be arrested.
