honestly imo the story starts to get a bit boring at around chapter 30-50. i was only rereading it and i had to force myself to hang on until chapter 70-80, i feel like it gets a bit more interesting there and by the most recent chapter (111 as i post this) it’s pretty fun to read
however there is a big change in environment later on where she’s not at the academy, so if you’re not a patient person and don’t like drastic changes in the storyline, i wouldn’t recommend this

i don’t like the crown prince like i get he was always missing his mother but how can you even call his actions genuine love/affection?? he’s treating shuli like an object he must acquire, and doesn’t care for how she’ll be harmed when the public criticizes her. in fact thats literally what he wants so she’ll fall into despair and run to him. him being a villain makes complete sense although richilieu is the ‘main’ villain of the story imo
nora on the other hand has always grown up wondering what he can do for shuli
the art style change bruhh i know no artist’s style can stay static but hue looks like a completely diff character now
