He got no choice. He's a wing. Loyalty to the saintess is like an instinct to them. They can't disobey them. Loyalty is like breathing to them. Think of it as an exchange for power. So they won't use it for bad things (cuz saintess are supposed to be good). Anyways, don't worry, he'll soon be loyal to fl. He'll feel the same thing Noelle felt. Fl is the real saintess.

She haven't awaken her power yet. She's starting now thou.The bracelet will help her with that. In the first timeline, Ahuin never saw fl when she was starting to awaken her power so that tragedy happened. Also, most of those wings are fake. Ahuin and Noelle are real. That's also the reason why Ahuin can't disobey the mother. Even when he got crazy (1st timeline), he still can't so he chose to die. Noelle met the mother after pregnancy so the power was already transferred to fl. That's why her reaction was different than Ahuin.
