exactly! This manhwa properly focuses on the mc’s mission’s goal (to save his family) and is concentrated on that only. There’s no random, sexualised and sudden romance interactions, depictions or overall scenes (as there shouldn’t, because realistically who would be trying/wanting to fall in love in a situation where the world has gone apocalyptic, so many people are dying/already dead and you’re trying to save your family??) which makes the story more smooth and interesting, and I love how dominating the mc’s presence actually is, in the context that you can actually recognise his steady growth of powers and understanding of his abilities, but also his leadership over other characters.
Sure, the whole apocalypse/system/abilities etc. genre isn’t exactly new or anything, but I must say, after reading a lot, this really is a good read. Definitely a really well portrayal of realism (relatability of how mc was introverted and not so sociable/always home) which makes this so understandable and interesting, but I’m getting annoyed cause this isn’t updating fast enough.
