I don't know how I feel about the homophobe-being-gay-all-along trope... It just doesn't sit well with me. Wish the guy would become friends with his coworkers and accept them without the need for a romantic relationship that makes him reconsider his intolerance

It's more of an self inflicted homophobia, this happens many times in the community to make oneself more "normal" one starts hating or discriminating bcoz that's what the society demands or that's the only way the person feels "normal"
though I agree the whole romantic partner approach is kinda off bcoz this is something that should be addressed b4 the person goes for a relationship

I would agree to it if it was just abt the call but the part where he was interested in whether chris had sex or not makes me think it's more than just being in an uncomfortable environment
But again maybe it is bcoz after reading all these kind of comics my mind is going for the typical explanation
So Liam is the child and he's being chased after because of what that older man who he shares powers with did at the castle, I feel like?
I think Liam was the child she saw and due to experimentation he grew up fast to let’s say his “prime” which is the older man. I’m pretty sure he did the attack on the castle since he has admitted that he’s done bad things before. Then about him not aging as much is probably due to the experiments like he was aged quickly to his prime and then they did something so he wouldn’t age as quickly.
ooh my assumption was that liam is the child but it wasn't him who did the attacks? but rather an older brother or a father or possibly there's a "species" of humans that have powers and those humans were found to have said powers so experiments were carried out on them to find out more. and liam said he did bad things before but since there wasn't really a flashback, i think he may have been referring to some other "bad thing". no clue though! hope we find out soon
That's what I figure as well. It would fit with the child's age compared to that of the old woman - like, if the old woman was around 25 and now she's maybe 65, then it would fit with Liam having been 10 and now being 50 - and since he said that he didn't know his parents, but that his foster parents were "weird", it would make sense if his foster parents were people with similar abilities. Since he also said that he was probably the only human with his abilities, and since we haven't seen him" break the mind" of anyone, I think it's plausible that they all have different abilities (Liam's being the ability of seduction or the like, and the guy in the story having mind breaking abilities).
Yes! That's what I thought as well
